The Animal Art Factory has been created by the italian painter Alessandra Guzzonato.
Her work pictures a world where animals play the role of protagonist in environments that would be unknown to them. Articles that explore man's desire to humanise animals, by inserting them into our world, inspire these paintings. However, these are not intended to make statements on animal welfare but merely illustrate portraits of contemporary situations.
A broader approach has now been developed since these original portraits. The artist's intention is to capture fragments of her own personal life journey to enrich her work. She aims use everyday contexts symbolically, as a representation of how identity can be discovered.
